Reverse camera

Featured Replies

Hi not sure if this is std or changeable .. but my reverse camera switches off when the doors auto lock .. but unfortunately due to us living in a tight culdydack this means it can be on for a good 30secs .. can this be changed

Are you talking about reversing or just driving with RVC switched on?

Doors autolock at certain speed, I think it`s about 15 km/h (10 mph). So does the camera switch off at the same speed, going forward.

Never reversed at that speed, cannot comment this.

Do you not have the “P” button that you can push to activate/ de activate pdc and camera.

I think the op is saying that the camera comes on correctly, but STAYS ON, until a certain speed is reached, and because he's going slowly, that can take up to 30 seconds.  Question is:  how to switch back to normal view.

As above press the “P” button, if the OP has one.

That's right mate

Yep, press the P button, as Kenny R pointed out.

And if you don’t have the P button, you can tap an icon on the screen to switch off the camera. I forget what it looks like, but there aren’t that many so experimentation will quickly find it.

Just a cross in the corner. Like Windows.
