Collected my first ever Skoda only last Saturday (30/01/21), and I’ve only actually driven it 15 miles home as I wanted to use up my full tank of fuel in my previous car ! 

 

A 2018 race blue Octavia vRS 230 TSI.

Hi Nag, welcome to the forum , nice car - I probably couldn't resist driving that. rather unfortunate timing, filling up the tank on the old one just before replacing it.

With my dealer being somewhat slow at forwarding my e-docs for a Saturday handover, I decided to fill up the current car and tell them it would now need to be the following Saturday. Until that is, they called pleading for me to collect it on the arranged day, quoting, “the end of the month is the end of the world” 

 

So after offering me a great deal on their RTI GAP insurance which I initially wasn’t going to take out, and a trip to the petrol station, I agreed !!
 

With now two cars full of fuel, I threw the mileage on the one that’s going!!

Crumbs, you must be doing some miles! It takes me about 2 months to get rid of a tank-full on my essential trips to work.
