Featured Replies

Hi everyone.

I have a skoda octavia vrs cr 170

When I was on the drive home tonight.

I was in 3rd gear doing 30 mph then  started to accelerate up go 40mph before I got to 40mph it started to juddering abit and was hesitant. Any ideas?

Thanks

How many miles, when was last service, has clutch ever been changed.

Could be a few things, spark plugs, coil pack, build up of carbon somewhere.

For a comprehensive answer take a look at:

Basically, you look for judder when you put the transmission under medium load or listen for noises when idling. Can also be felt as a judder when accelerating.

Doesnt really sound like what's described in the link. Getting scan tonight hopefully might have a  code

Used every day.

Yeah could be one of them things. Maybe a bit of dodgy fuel. It's done it twice in like 5 months

I can second,  mines done it too occasionally think maybe 4 times in as many years
