Octavia 3 DSG retrofit paddle shifter

Featured Replies

Hi,

Is there any chance to install a retrofit paddle shifter into my Octavia mk3 MY2014 (CKFC and DSG).

I’m really a fan of them and would like to upgrade it into my octavia which I’m currently building.

Thanks a lot!

Yes. If you currently have a multifunctional steering wheel then a similar wheel with paddles should be plug and play. I have one going spare but don't think postage from the UK would be the cheapest for you.

Shout if you have trouble finding one though.

What do you want for it (inc postage) just out of interest? (And assuming Cz0cz3k isn't interested)

I did a for sale post a little while ago. Can't remember what I put it up for. Probably something like £70+PNP? I remember it was less than other were asking as it's not flat bottom.

That’s a really good news 😁 thanks for it

I can find it in Hungary also and save the shipping, but thanks anyway, appreciate it

Can you send me a link/pm me a pic so I can see if it matches the one I have? It would give me something to do during lockdown! :)

cheers

Nick

@NikTheGeek will do as soon as I find it. We moved a couple of weeks ago and the house/garage is carnage right now.

@NikTheGeek check this out. Found it in the garage so happy to take more pics.

I'm interested. Could you get me a price to post please? Plymouth. I'll PM you my postcode. Not even sure I'll ever use them, but it'll give me something to do as I'm bored and what better way to kill some time than to fiddle with a car :)

Just to revive this topic: I also have a O3FL with DSG and MFSW but without the paddles. I lave the pre-FL wheel, with the "rounder" airbag cover (same for O3) and with the old style buttons on the MFSW (telephone button under the assistants button on the right)  As I've seen when retrofitting the ACC, my buttons do not have the pins for connecting to dsg paddles if I want to swap the steering wheel so I need to buy another set of buttons with the connectors on the back. Can someone enlighten me on what to search of if there are 2 types of buttons (with or without the connectors for dsg paddles) ? Thanks
