2007 Octavia Mk2 Estate 4x4 140PD BMM (Colour: Black Magic)

Car is in Basingstoke. Fell free to PM if you want to have a look or remove the part you want yourself.

Seats, door panels (plastic inlays have been painted black) and steering wheel are all from my old 2007 Mk2 VRS 170PD BMN. VRS logo on seats have been covered with embroidered Recaro patches. Steering wheel logo is not the original Skoda but an ABT badge.

Prices quoted do not include postage. Most I have just plucked out of the air, so feel free to haggle.

Other non-original parts:

- VRS front calliper carries. The Brembo discs and pads are still good. This is basically all you will need to upgrade your front discs to the VRS 312mm ones. Would take £50 for the lot.

- De-badged grill from Superskoda (professionally colour-coded) - http://www.kopacek.com/images/Plasty/o2-fgb-lw12.jpg. Cost £80, will sell for £40.

- 3-piece front spoiler kit from Superskoda (professionally colour-coded). Includes the eyebrows for the headlights as pictured - http://www.kopacek.com/images/Plasty/60004.jpg Cost £155, will sell for £75.

- Genuine VRS rear bumper with reflectors (will require respray). £75

- VRS pedals, including accelerator. £40.

Available parts I have already removed:

- H&R DR Series wheel spacers (20mm for front and 15mm for rear) including genuine black H&R extended wheel bolts. Cost me £186, will sell for £100.

- Fully polished 18” VRS Zenith alloys (2 with brand new Falcon tires and two that will need new tyres). The alloys were ceramic polished by TRS in Milton Keynes for £125 a wheel. They are no longer quite as shiny as they were when I got them back, but still look good. Maintenance on the raw aluminium (especially in winter with all the salt on the roads) is time-consuming as the spoke design is quite intricate. Were I to do it all over again, I would definitely have had them lacquered by TRS after the polish. I am going to clean them up, but would advise anyone buying them who wants to keep them shiny to have them machine polished back to perfection and lacquered this time. That said, they would also be ideal for powder coating now. Will take £300 for the set (which includes the two brand new tyres).

- Locking roof bars with 2 bicycle stands. £100.

- retractable boot cover. £25.

- Head light clusters with Osram LED side-light bulbs (with CANBUS adapters installed) and LED headlights (which have no issues with the CANBUS).  £100 for the pair.

Other things for sale.

Kenwood DMX7017DABS head unit (Apple Carplay & Android Auto) with unopened DAB antenna  - https://kenwood-electronics.co.uk/car/nav_mm/android-auto-mm/DMX7017DABS/

Kenwood KAC-8406 900W 4/3/2 Channel amp -  https://kenwood-electronics.co.uk/car/amp_spk/amp/KAC-8406/

- Full set of JBL door speakers.

- FLI FT12A Active 1200W 12" Subwoofer - https://fliaudio.co.uk/portfolio/fli-trap-12-active/

- Once-piece facia for double-din head unit (will need to be repainted)

I would prefer to sell the sound system as a lot. Everything was picked to work together (expect the sub, which is cheap) and the system sounds great. It includes the Skoda Mk2 wiring harness and CANBUS adapter for the head unit, RCA cables between head unit and amp, 12V feed cables for amp and sub and door mounts for the JBL speakers. All in, the setup cost over £700. Will take £350.  If you don't want the whole thing, PM me and I will reply with a price when and if there are no takers.

Engine is complete (less EGR cooler, which is busted) but not a runner as not fully reassembled. Parts I would be wiling to remove myself are:

- Darkside developments EGR delete kit. Cost £90, will sell for £50.

- Coolant header tank. Genuine and brand new. £10.

- ASV. £50

- MAF sensor. £25

- Rocker cover (and brand new gasket). £25

- Cam rollers. ?

- Camshaft (brand new but not genuine). £50.

- Lifters (brand new INA Black coated). Cost £100, will sell for £50.

- Tandem pump. £50.

- Alternator. £25

- Anything else that is relatively easy to remove (ie, not the DPF, turbo or intake manifold, etc.)

The car is sitting on a full set of H&R 55mm lowering springs and Bilstein sport dampers that are 18 months old. Combined with the wheel spacers above (and a set of 18" alloys) the kit gives the 4x4 what I would consider to be the perfect stance for on-road performance (and pretty much makes off-roading impossible) if that's your thing. It brings the wheels out flush with the arches and creates and even arch gap all the way around. It's a £350 set-up, but I would take £100 if you come and swap out the the suspension yourself. By which I mean, replace it with your existing springs and shocks as the car is sitting in front of my house and will need to moved eventually.

Once I have finished taking off what I can, I will be selling what's left of the car for collection. You would be getting a non-runner with a sound block, crank, pistons, turbo and AC compressor, etc. The radiator is new, as are the lower front ball joints. The Gen 2 Haldex AWD system is also in perfect working order, and it has a clean DPF (I have never see the regen light come on and MOT emissions have always been spot-on).  And if no one wants the springs and shocks, they would be yours too. Will consider a price once the time comes.

If you would like pictures of anything, just PM me.

If you would rather just buy the car outright as a donner for another Mk2 4x4, we can discuss that too. Would be looking for something in the region of £1500 without the alloys and £1750 with. Car is currently sitting on steel rims with worn winter tires. I appreciate that's a lot for a non-runner, but considering what I have spent on it, I think it's still a good price.

I’ll take the VRS Rear Bumper and De-badged Grille if you can post them both please.

Could you post some photos too please.

I may also be interested in the bonnet hinges, the exhaust backbox depending which one it is and there may be a few other parts too.

Please let let me know ASAP

Will take some photos tomorrow. Not sure I can do the hinges as it would make access to the engine bay a nightmare while the car is still here. Not sure you'll want the back box. I cut the down-facing tips off to put straight chrome tips on it from a Passat.

This was the bumper when first resprayed.

And now.

There are some scratches and the car was rear ended a couple of months ago. Bumper is still fine, but the paint is cracked as you can see, hence the need for respray even if you're keeping the colour. And the insert on the right side hasn't been painted as I got it after the respray.

Do you have the rear sensors and the wiring available? As the rear bumper looks to have blanks in the sensor holes? Am I right?

If you have the sensors and wiring, I’d be interested in the rear bumper, to include sensors, wiring, both reflectors and the covers under the rear lights. I’d also take the front Grille

I believe you are looking for one of THESE - 1K0971981A, which appears to be common to most (if not all) the VW ranges for that era.

Life saver, thank you so much. My local main Skoda dealer couldn't identify these or give me a part number 🤔

Have a search on fleabay with the part number and you can see what one would look like.  Note that the left and right hand parts are different and come in black or ivory. Take a look at the parts catalogue link to see what I mean.
