Led stripes

Featured Replies

They only light up if you have the adaptive headlights.

I have adaptive headlights.

Do they selectively obscure other cars when you have 'adaptive' full beam on?

I dont know that.

But car have adaptive headlights, and  auto hi/lo headlights.

Auto high-low is different.

It was a £100 option when I got my car.

u need to have Smart Light Assist version of the Bi-Xenon headlights.

u can tell this by popping the bonnet open and looking at the part number on top of each headlight.

if it ends in B, you have the SLA capable Bi-Xenons, hence working "eye-lashes" or "whiskers".  eg. 3V2941015B

if it ends in A, you have the normal Bi-Xenons, which can only go as high as High Beam Assist (HBA).  they do not have working "eye-lashes" or "whiskers".  e.g. 3V2941015A

version A headlights do not have the necessary hardware in them for the whiskers to work.

i upgraded my version A headlights to version B about 2 yrs ago.

Hi

Tnx, i have A.

One more question.

I try (just tested) today Acc+lane assist and when i dont touch the stering the alert sound comes on and  on display shows something...and after alert the lane assist shuts down..becouse i did not touch sterring.

In manuals says that car should stop it selfs and turn on blinkers.

Like in this video :

My car dont do this, and just  turn off lane assist and thats it.

Maybe it's best in a separate thread, as this one is about LED stripes?
