Secure child seats in row 3

Featured Replies

Hey has anyone secured high back seats in row 3 of their Kodiaq. Mine seem to move a lot and even when I brake the seat slides forward

just wondering if anyone has a knack or trick to make them more secure

I find removing the headrest and putting it in facing backwards allows our high-back booster seats to sit on the seat properly.

Any child seat should be rock solid.  Any movement suggests it is not fitted properly, be it Isofix or secured by OEM seatbelt.

EDIT - sorry no Isofix in row 3 - ignore that bit.

Please don't let a child travel in a wobbly seat.

As above, removing or turning the headrests allows the taller models to sit properly.

I’ll give it a go thanks

Not all child seats fit in all cars. I don’t know if these people are answering their phones at the moment but it’s worth speaking to them about which seats will fit. My only connection with them is they have trained me (some years ago) how to safely fit car seats, and what to look for. They really know their stuff.
