Hi,

Just got a new-old tdi 130 estate, very impressed! Engine electronics light has gone on. I understand this is likely to be an egr sensor or something like that. Any common places to check?

 

Is there a quick reset like this guy is doing in the A3. I can't find a 40A fuse and it's a different generation of VAG so I don't want to go randomly pulling fuses.

Best bet is to read the fault codes, otherwise it's just guessing games really. You can get basic code readers for under 30 quid. They won't do the flashy stuff, but they'll tell you why the lights on.
