New suspension questions

Featured Replies

Hi, I might need to change the front suspension on my 2011 VRS.

The standard suspension is hard enough, can anyone suggest a make that will give a a similar ride ?

don’t need coil overs just looking for a direct replacement.

TIA.

Check that these are the correct OEM part numbers for your car. One way is to check your car's build codes.

If your Fabia MK2 has build code G07, then front shock absorber with OEM part number 6R0413031AG fits.

If your Fabia MK2 has build code 1JE then rear shock absorber with OEM part number 6R0513025AF fits.

Some of the build codes will be on a white label stuck under the carpet in the boot area.

You can also check the OEM part numbers on your current shock absorbers if they are original. The OEM part number should be stamped on each shock absorber if they are genuine VW group ones.
