Why weren't they released in the UK?

And more importantly why can't I afford one? It annoys me, I am just in love with this car.

Ah you know you want the Racing one ;)

Chris

When I got it into my head that I wanted to sell the Fabia, this was VERY high on my list of wanted cars!

I really like the way it looks, and I've heard it drives very well too.

Perhaps you should open the sallon for evening and weekend appointments, charging a premium for them? save the extra cash for a DC5. :D

Josh - I think you made the wrong choice ;)

I think it's a great car, looked at one before buying the TT but scared off by the fact it's an import. It's not actually that expensive either, a low mileage 2 year old example can be had for 15 grand.

I admit it looks sexy as hell. Anyone got the essential statistics for this version? Are we talking a rather pepped up type R engine? 2.2?

Walkie, who says you cant afford one???

One for 8,200 on autotrader right now. Search keyword 'DC5' and search 'national'

It's white.

Walkie, who says you cant afford one???

I think he means the running costs as it's a high insurance rating (cos it's an import) and he's just a young'un

Chris

Ahh, I see...

I know where there is one with a supercharger for sale. :D

290ish bhp anyone.

british touring car champions last year iirc so must be pretty good , i think a bloke in ST Helens imports and sells them on Ebay

With regards to owning one.........

I am tempted to look a little more into this. I have £10.5k to spend, £8.5k on the car, pay for the insurance monthly using the £1k to soften the blow, having the other £1k for servicing/petrol :D

It may be doable.

Christ I hate cars

I wanted one, but my sensible head fell on lol

Looking at finances it really cannot be done.

It's a shame, but they'l be others come along in my life

It is an awesome car. There was a brand new one at Honda in Portsmouth a little while ago, I think Lorna was with me at the time. Hadn't even been prepared... that makes me think some dealers will import them.
