I am a very proud owner of a MK3 Octy VRS estate. I would like to fit Maxton Design side skirts. I am worried however about drilling in to the sill. Happy with the front and rear bumpers but not metal. Any advice welcome. Thank you

I was the same but bit the bullet and installed with self tappers, but also used a high strength contact adhesive to bond to the sill but also around the screws so that it sealed up the hole. 
 

My one big piece of advice if you have access to a lifter definitely use, it makes life easier. I fitted with car half up a curb and jack fully extended to get right under the car. And just take your time if you do it 👍

Brill thank you mate. I have everything Maxton do minus the side skirts. It freaks me out as this will be my forever ish car haha. Just sills, and water and salt scare me. I keep looking. Does the kit come with self tappers? I guess i need to provide the double sided tape? Or Tiger seal? If that would work.

I’m sure they came with self tappers but you can pick up a pack from Halfrauds which are longer than the Maxton ones, I originally tried with double sided tape and it failed miserably 😂. Yeah any high strength contact adhesive like a Tiger seal or gorilla glue, the adhesive I had was industrial stuff from work. If you can get someone to help that’s also a massive help! Put the adhesive on and then line it up together and bond to the sill, then just drill the self tappers up into the sill.
