I thought i’d give my wheel caps a clean as they’re milky, been like that since I bought the car a few years ago.

Went to the boot toolbox to get the puller and not there, game over for me.

I noticed there’s two empty slots, i’m assuming one of them is for the wheel cap puller but what should be in the other one?

They only cost a few pence at Skoda, as I bought another one as a spare a few weeks ago. Along with a set of 5 wheel nut plastic covers, as I think somebody pinched the ones that were on that wheel.

I just looked on ETKA (delete this message if I can’t say that) and it’s only £1.28 which is fine.

Do you know what should go in the other hole? Looks like a key shape

I think they're used to pop the centre caps from some wheels - wife's old non-Skoda had one.

It's this, but I have never used it and no idea what it is for. Don't even keep it in the car, as the whole foam insert in the wheel well is not needed with the spare wheel I bought.

you will need that tool to pull a cover off your rear light clusters. After the cover is off, you can access the screw that keeps the cluster in place. You need to remove the cluster if you want to change a bulb.

Thanks. At last I know what it is for.

I’ve got that already circled in red, what should go where the yellow circle is?

Blue circle is where the puller lives

Ah good to know, mine was used also.

I’m starting to believe it should be empty, I don’t know much about tow bars but wondering if that’s where the key goes, if they even have keys that is

Tool used on some models, not sure about Superb, to remove section of grill to allow towing eye to be screwed in.

I might just get it out one day and double check where it fits and it's uses.

This tool is usually necessary to remove Audi wheel center caps like this:

roue.jpg

The small hook has to be inserted in the little hole, while you put your forefinger in the loop to pull the cap out.

But I have to say I really don't what it can be used for on my Superb ...

I guess they just put the same kit in most of the VW range, whether individual models need all these particular tools or not. That little tool has always been a mystery to me so far.

This is also what I think, but I've never been sure of that.. ;)

My seat Arona also has that 5 star shaped wheel centre cap, and the handbook shows where to insert the tool to pull off the cap.  It needs a fairly strong tug.   But I also got the tweezers (which aren’t needed as it doesn’t have 5 individual caps), so appears both are included regardless

Got my replacement wheel cap puller, only £1.28.

I was going to ask what else should go in the missing yellow circle but thought they’d only look at ETKA which I have and it doesn’t say
