Updating my 2012 Superb Columbus Maps

Featured Replies

Hi

I am the proud owner of a MK2 Superb. The Columbus maps need updating. Are there any members around the Oxfordshire area that could update my Columbus for me. Please message me with price and availability. Happy to travel to the members location for update. Will follow all guidelines for social distancing etc.

Ive got the disks to do both the firmware and map update. Where about in Oxfordshire are you based? I'm in aylesbury.

Hi

I am in Wantage in Oxfordshire about an hour away. I am happy to travel to Aylesbury to get the updates. If you can let me know when would be convenient and the cost of the updates we can arrange a suitable time. Thank you.

Kind regards

Andy

mwlee512 , did you buy the discs or did you download yourself ?
I need to update both in my Columbus & are not confident / capable of dowloading myself

if you buy them can I ask where from &  I assume you had no issues ?
TIA 👍

Many thanks for the response , I assume you had no issues & did you notice any difference once the unit was updated firmware wise ?
will search your links later 👍

@P1970No, to be honest I can't see anything that has changed from doing the firmware. I would probably save the money and not bother. Just do the maps.

Sorry to jump on an older thread but I too have a Superb Mk2 2012 with the Columbus Unit that has randomly lost any idea as to where we are in the world since purchasing the car 2 months ago.

would an update to maps fix it, how do I do this?

I don't have a manual for the unit so don't know how to find out which it is specifically?

Thank you!

Updating the maps would not cure this fault as it is the gps aerial. there are cheap fixes and a plethora of threads here about it. use the search function.
