Your scheduled Service is now due ...

Featured Replies

Hello all,

we bought (PCP with 15k mileage annualy) our Kodiaq in May 2019 in UK car dealer in X.

In Nov 2020  we had "1st variable service" by the same car dealer group but in different location (Y).

Now the car dealer from the original location (X) sent an e-mail that: Your scheduled Service is now due.

I am a bit confused - can anybody tell me what is going on ? I would assume they have central database with all the records when the service has been carried out.

What am I supposed to do ? Ignore it ?

Yes.

As above ignore email. If your service reminder was reset properly, your car will tell you when it needs its next service.

Some  dealers send out a reminder about month before the calendar due date.  It’s effectively advertising their services when then estimate you might need it.

Of course if it is already serviced as reached a mileage threshold, then ignore the letter.
