I could hear noise coming off both the booth struts of my karoq sport line especially while closing .

Took it over for a checkup and had the struts lubricated, yet I still get that. I thought it’s down to cold but I still get the nose even in this weather. Just wondering if it’s only me or any one experienced the same issue.

What sort of noise are you hearing ? Mine makes a noise but id consider mine "normal"

I get the noise when closing only. It's a high pitch whining noise 

I believe the Sportline has the electrically operated boot?

On my Scout (with electrically operated boot) one strut started making a noise upon closing about 9 months into ownership.  The dealer took a look when in for the first service and ordered a replacement under warranty.  All sorted and been fine (both struts) for a year or so (but not used so much due to lockdown).

seems like a known problem then.
