be waiting a good few months yet unless anyone gas any insight

When I asked in September 2022 I was told around 6 months for a new Superb. I've since read that its likely to be nearer 8 months and It seems that the cars which come through quickest are those with the least amount of extras. Apparently the Canton sound system in particular causes delays (due to semi conductor shortages) but since I don't think that the Canton is an option on the SEL that shouldn't affect you. You're probably looking at delivery aroung June this year all other things being equal.

I am not sure if this will help in any way but...

 

I ordered my car on 25th June 2022, L&K Estate, 280PS. Originally car was to be delivered around 48 weeks later. However I got an email from the dealer in November that the car will be manufactured on first week of December. And in fact it was - date of birth 07/12/2022 :). However shipping took awfully long because the car was only to be delivered on 23rd January 2023. And because I fancied '23 plate I only collectet it on 2nd March.

So... it could get better or worse... unfortunately I didn't even get a projected lead time ... well I did. Nov order. Mar delivery which clearly won't happen!! Thanks...😀

 

 

 

 

 

 

Finally something positive after 15 months of waiting: Superb 280 Style with options, ordered 12/21. Preliminary build week 6 deleted after a few months. Received a confirmed build week 9 a week ago and now it is finally confirmed as built and should be delivered by April.

Took mine from the dealer last week. Already covered 2000km and I may easily tell that it was worth waiting 16 months  The car looks great, very comfortable drive with DCC, interior and boot space is simply unbeatable. The sound insulation (acoustic side glasses in front included) is miles better than my previous Karoq, but it is still quite noisy from the wheels (additional insulation may be done here). The 2.0 TSI 280 engine does not need any further comments: overtaking is as easy as in a video game, acceleration is brutal. Really easy to loose a drivers license in only a few seconds
