MX5 to Mk2 Lava Blue Superb

Featured Replies

Hello all,

For the best part of 2 years and 40k miles I ran a 2.0 NC MX5 Sport Graphite as my daily to and from work which is a 100 mile round trip. The car was incredibly fun but once it hit 100k miles I decided it was time to move it on and buy something more suited the kind of mileage and driving I do.

I've always had a soft spot for the Superb so after a bit of searching I found one for almost the same value as the Mazda. Within a week the MX5 was sold and I'd picked up a 1 owner 2012 Superb Elegance with 83k, new discs, pads, cambelt and water pump.

I've done around 500 miles so far and it's incredibly comfortable and perfect for an hours commute to and from work.

Couple of photos of the MX5 and the new (to me) Superb.
