Hi,

I’m working on a modification on a used Skoda Yeti grille.

I have removed some of the bars in order to make a more aggressive look. I’ve also glued some small plastic bits to the underside in order to have some support for what I will fill the gaps with.

I’m thinking of filling the gaps with some sort of putty and the sand it all level. The whole thing will be painted in matte black.

Now, will this work? What could I use in order to fill the gaps with? I’m guessing the hard part will be to find a solution that will not result in cracks of the  “joints” between the grille and the putty (or whatever I may en up using).

Cheers

When most other yeti owners have devised methods of fitting mesh behind the grill and lower grill to stop stones etc damaging the radiator/ intercooler, all I can say is your very brave opening opening up the grill.

@Kenny R Haha, well I have plans of adding some sort of mesh behind this craziness... 😅
