VRS dashboard Octavia Badge.

Featured Replies

I've just found BRISKODA today and wondered if it was only myself who absolutely hates looking at the 'OCTAVIA' badge in chrome coloured plastic underneath the hazard light switch?

Has anyone made up a replacement insert with the VRS badge on it?

If not, is there anyone out there who would like to take on the task and let me know how it turns out?

I do hate it, yes, but I'd never considered a vRS badge to replace it. That's a top idea. How the hell you'd make it though, I have no idea...

i have removed the chrome lettering with a dremel looks far better IMHO :D

I scraped the chrome off with a modelling knife. The dash looks much better now.

My Brother in Law has a Toyota Celica VVLTI but is had no badge to signify the engine type and what he did was get the VVTI badge and use some perspex or polymer type substance and cut out the letters, if you get say a Vrs badge and do the same and goto a model shop and get the right paint you could make a nice little badge the exact same for a few quid..

might not be much help but is similar to what he did ;-)

I was thinking of trying to get a VRS alloy keyfob or anything similar and trying to craft the logo in brushed alloy onto the small strip beneath the hazard switch?

The trouble is that I've drawn a blank on the alloy keyfob?

Any suggestions?

Give E-Bay a try that is pretty hand just type into search skoda and see what it brings up

Tell your brother in Law to keep the oil level topped up on that motor. They have a nasty habbit of lunching themselves due to the high revs otherwise! ;)
