A couple of questions if I may....

Featured Replies

A month with MY21 and largely happy with it. Some things missing (speed camera alerts) and some new things to play with. However I have some questions I hope another member can enlighten me about.

  1.  Is it possible to stop recent journeys being automatically added to list of destinations? It's a pain deleting them.
  2. Do you use Service Partner? I haven't chosen one yet and wondered whether to bother since I have about three I could use.
  3. I've put my private registration on the car. I don't see anywhere I need to change in Skoda Connect. Is that right?

Thanksin advance for any replies.

As far as I am aware, you only need to nominate a Service Partner if you want to let the car book a service with them. And the Skoda Connect website doesn't seem to mention the registration number so presumably relies on the VIN to identify your car?

Thanks, That seems to confirm what I thought.

.

Does the car ask you first to make sure it's at a convenient time?

I hope it does.

Seems like a solution to a problem none of us really have. How on earth did we manage when we had to do things by ourselves?

Things like steering, braking when something's in the way and turning the wipers on when it's raining.

I dunno.

According to my manual, if you've chosen a service partner the car will tell them when it requires a service. They then contact you to schedule an appointment. So no, it doesn't just drive to them!! :)
