Panoramic sunroof and roof rack ?

Featured Replies

Has anyone got a Kodiak with a panoramic sun roof and also fitted a roof rack ? Are you still able to open the sunroof - is there enough clearance between the roof and the roof rack bars - either Škoda bars or aftermarket Thule etc ?

Skoda U.K. and a variety of dealers seem to be unable to conclusively answer this simple question that must have been asked many time before !

Yes, I recently fitted roof rails and all is fine. I got them from a site that specifies by car and roof rail type:

https://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel3.php?emulate=roofbar&query=8482

AR8522-RR - Atera SIGNO RTD: Atera SIGNO RTD 122cm aero-profile aluminium bars 048 522
- Car chosen: Skoda Kodiaq (2016 onwards) for cars with raised roof rails

Higher ones are not a problem.

I have Thule Wingbar Edge and they are so low that there is no chanche to open or tilt the sunroof.

Thanks - so the roof opens underneath no problem  ?

Yes, it is fine.

No issues with my Thule 775+WingBar.
