For those of you with the iV model... Do you have a yellow warning light in the virtual cockpit while charging? I'm trying to figure out what this is. There is no info in the manual about any warning sign while charging. Checking the car status in the infotainment I did a couple of tests today in different public charging points. One time it said function not available, the other one that something was open (door, trunk or engine compartment) although everything was closed. I've contacted the dealer and still waiting for a response. At least it seems it's not related with the charging itself, car charges perfectly.

Isn’t that light mostly for the KESSY system. I’ve had mine failing to detect the key for few seconds after entry.

According to the manual indicates a warning along with another warning light... therefore it indicates many different warnings. In this case I needed to check the car status in the infotainment to check what it was

After a few days with my iV I can confirm that the yellow warning light is on when the car is plugged in. No other warning messages are displayed.

In my opinion it makes sense, because you cant drive while plugged in

Isn’t it the general warning to check 

 

Presumably to remind you cable is plugged in, so don’t try and drive without unplugging it.   I don’t have an iV but presumably won’t let you if you do try.

 

Thanks for the comment!! It makes a lot of sense indeed. What it does not is that there is no mention about it in the manual and that neither the dealer nor skoda Spain were able to give an answer...

I have this every time I charge, with a warning about something being open, I believe it relates to the charging port being open during the charging process.

The yellow triangle is there as a warning for plugged in charger. More specific in the photo I have attached.
