Yeah; my point was that we'd maybe compute the total P(failure) differently, but using similar numbers we'd get similar results by law of transformation etc.

@SinglePointSafety @e-Roottoot - I tend to ignore "consumer surveys" because the level of self-selection bias in most of them tends to 1. Also, they tend to actively select for cars under 3 years old in my experience.

In Australia we get a 5 year warranty, so I can't complain in that respect. 5 years seems to be the industry normal.

 

I also know that skoda have had a better amount of sales this year compared to the previous year 😀
