400 miles on the clock - 5 days old - and a deer jumps into the road - I'm doing about 55 - on the brakes - deer crosses - look left, out jumps ANOTHER deer.

Never broken so hard in my life - stupidly started to try and drive round it - locked the wheels & nearly lost the car - stopped about 2 meters away from it.

I've been easy on the brakes - not trying to mash them being new. They seem fine - and so is the car!!!

Nerves a little shaken though. D

Is this a Furby thing, that's four of us in less than five months

I drove my company cars up and down the same stretch of road for over twenty years, left the employer and had to buy my own car a "Furby" and four weeks later bang, I hit the Deers

Fortunately with help on here and some good araldite Furby was put back together again (first time insured by myself with no NCB)

Now Cheffie I have an excuse as I am an engineer so did not know what can be done with a load of free venison, but you (Going by your nick may be a chef) have no excuse it would have paid for your repairs
