SKODA OCTAVIA MK3 P023A CODE

Featured Replies

hi i have a 64plate skoda octavia mk3 2.0 tdi and recently the engine management light has come on and the code that keeps popping up is the p023a having a read online it shows charge air cooler circuit but the mechanic i use was confused what it was even the parts shop so i rang the skoda dealers and they told me that code could be the issue with a pressure senor on top of the manifold or the egr just wondering has anyone else had this issue and what would be the solution?

It's the electronic waterpump (not the cam driven waterpump). When my car displayed that code it was a broken wire although I also had the pump replaced - £83 from TPS.
