Hi all. New here and just ordered a Skoda Superb SE Tech iV. 

 

I had originally ordered the Cupra Formentor but due to the chip delays it was going to be some time. 

 

As I needed a car and the superb was on the shortlist..my leasing company had stock and I just went for it. 

Should be here in the next few weeks. I wanted the SE L or Sportline Plus trim but I could not find anything in stock at the time...stock meaning ready to be loaded onto a truck and not a pre-booked factory slot!

 

Now having had a MK8 golf already which I rejected due the appalling software...do you know what the latest software version is for the Superb?

 

I just want to make sure I don't have any issues with the dealer.  I believe my spec comes with the 8" Amundsen screen and sadly no virtual cockpit.

Hi.  I have the L&K IV with 10 screen and the virtual cockpit - Columbus Info system, so many things will be different, including the version number.

 

I am having about 6 minor issues that I know to be software that skoda has so far failed to fix after 5months.  I'll do a list on a new thread later today so that other owners can see is they have the same issues.

 

Yesterday I was told that there are fixes for some of my issues and hopefully will be able to report in the next few weeks if anything is better, or worse.

 

From what I understand the basic version shown on your system is a sort high level release reference and the various specific fixes that are added are not reflected in this version being changed so it's impossible for owners to know what extra bits have been changed the factory delivery.
