OEM manufacturers of CAYC MAF sensors?

Featured Replies

I'm aware that it's important to buy OEM when replacing a MAF sensor.

I've seen old posts suggesting Bosch made the original part for my Greenline 1.6tdi however, mine is made by Continental and has the part number 03L 906 461

Is this an original fitment?

My 2015 CAYC has that exact part fitted.

There seems to be a shortage of this part, according to dealers I have spoken to.

Does anyone have any good experiences with other makes?

I've seen Toraun (?) Hella and Facet online.

Update - after fitting a new OEM Continental MAF from Skoda Stourbridge (£150) pretty much all of my driveability issues have been cleared up.

In case anyone is thinking you need to have the MAF totally fail before replacing it. I never had any MAF related error messages, nor any huge starting issues - my issues were fuel economy, poor fuelling just off tickover and almost imperceptible surging on part throttle.
