In November, after a week off, returning from txi school drop, we go into limp, RAC scan, injector failed £560 inc vat/fitting

 

 

Today after another week off.... EML comes on, no limpy this time

 

scanned with my BT dongle

 

P0401 ...........

 

anyway, with Torque i scanned and cleared the fault, went into town, bought some magic elixir from Halfords and some spray EGR cleaner and a new air filter (old one wasnt very old though)

 

drove it 16 miles at some pace and no EML

drove 15 miles this morning

 

Torque shows EGR is operating normally

did the afternoon school run, 72 miles, no issue

 

 

and same again, 75 miles no issues

 

maybe the diesel cleaner has wooshed it or...

 

maybe she knows in buying a Passat

Spill the beans what was the diesel cleaner you used did you wack the whole bottle in the tank?

School run of 75 miles? That is some distance.
