After having my Vrs for a while now I've decided it's time to do something with the brakes. Now, I'm tempted with the 312mm option as they come up for sale a lot on you know who bay for pretty reasonable money but really can't be arsed to paint them green and then have to spend more money on some decent pads for them anyway. So at the moment I'm thinking about giving some DS2500's a go with the standard brakes but don't want to waste

They work well and don't fade, make sure you put some Super DOT4 fluid in or you'll boil the standard stuff as they run hot. Also, make sure you follow the bedding in instructions.

I use Ferrodo DS2500s on my back brakes, but as they do sod all in reality, I'm going to replacing with oem type pads come change over. I had them on the front of my old bakes, (edit: bakes? wtf: BRAKES!) and they were pretty much as good a brakes as 256mm brakes were ever going to get.... Only took about 5 laps of Anglesey to boil them though.
