My Amundsen sat nav/radio/information centre recently failed, just repeatedly turning on and off every few seconds.

I posted a query here and @pab567 suggested some ideas about repairing it.

He explained how to remove the unit and send it to him in Poland. I did so and was very pleased that he was able to repair it, at a reasonable price, and sort out the customs forms needed when sending from the UK.

and recommend his work, which saved me a great deal of money had I gone to my main dealer.
 

Now you can download a new map from the Skoda Update Portal onto the original Skoda SD Card..
New maps went on there recently, the first update for over a year when there should be 2 a year.
