Does anyone else have their accelerator pedal clunk when pressed fully down? 
 

The car didn’t seam to have the same pull over the last few days so I pressed a bit harder on the pedal and I noticed the pedal went a but further and with a clunk at the same time. 
 

I tried this while in E mode only and as soon as it clunked the ICE kicked in so I’m guessing it’s an overdrive thing. 

 

Normal accelerator kickdown action on an auto/ DSG.

There is a switch at the furthest pressed position of the accelerator pedal. On a manual the only thing it does is to allow you to accelerate past the defined speed if you have engaged the speed limiter.
