Owner of a new Scala Ambition (as the base model is called here in AUS) with tech pack and driver assist pack. Coming from a Mk7 Golf so it drives pretty similar except it has all the bells and whistles that the Golf didn't have. Missing the auto-hold and electric park brake though.

Hi. I know there's a 'considering buying' forum but this is about an oldie so I thought this may be a better place to post...(a query for the long committed fans?)? I already have a 2005 Octavia Estate (1.9TDI PD105) and it is by a country mile the BEST car I have EVER owned. I bought it in 2013 for <£2.5k and apart from needing to do the clutch straight away it hasn't needed much over the 80k miles I've done in it since. However it is close to 180k miles now, the clutch is juddering and

I'm thinking of buying a 2021 vrs iv with 30k on the clock. Paranoia reigns, should l do it? What should l look out for on a test drive? I do about 8k a year. Short journeys with the odd long distance trio about 10 times a year. I'm reading lot's of stuff about infotainment glitches etc, which is scaring me. My current car is ageing 14 plate petrol vRS. I've had a 2005 Octavia Estate and have just had to dispose of it after 241,000 miles. I've replaced it with a Octavia 1.5 2023 Estate with 128,000 miles on the clock. The Car warehouse place I bought it from only provides one working key, but there was another in the pack that doesn't work with the car. As the actual physical key in this second key doesn't actually match the on what works and that the Skoda logo is missing from the second key I have strong suspicions that this key has never wo

Hi Folks, Replacing the Lambda (Oxygen) Sensor on my sons 1.2 TSI Fabia Mk2 2011 engine code CBZB It’s the Bank 1 Sensor 1 So the top sensor pre cat etc. Can anyone give me the correct Torque setting for this sensor please. I’ve tried a search but not having much luck and I don’t trust the google links with suspicious online manuals. Be much appreciated if anyone can help. Thanks Nick
