The question is in the title!  I don't seem to be able to turn the radio off unless I turn the whole Amundsen device off. 

 

What do I have to do to turn off the radio while still being able to hear the NAV instructions?

On my amundsen +, i realise not the same beast, I can turn the radio volume down to zero, but before that when the voice gives  out directions i can increase that volume or lower it, can you not do similar with your setup?

Yes (albeit after some early days confusion), radio volume turned back to zero but still able to hear directions from Dolly!

On my Octavia, with Amundsen unit, the radio can be muted (rather than winding the volume down to zero) by pressing the steering wheel rotary knob in - assuming the Yeti has steering wheel controls, of course!  This won’t affect the nav volume, and is quicker/easier, imo

Others may suggest that I RTFM but thank you Baxlin. I tried pressing the LH steering wheel rotary knob in and the muting works.

 

A Eureka moment after five years!
