Do any of you experts out there know the location of the fusebox please. I need to hardwire my dashcam. My Octavia had it in the end of the Dash near the door hinge but on the Superb this has the word Airbag embossed on it. I am hesitant to remove it in case it sets the airbag off in my face.

Pretty sure it's behind the glovebox...

 

It should be described in the owners manual how to access it

For RHD cars, u need to drop the glovebox - it is behind it.

This it's dead easy though so dont panic :-)

Thanks for all the help everyone - however having looked at the glovebox it is not immediately obvious to me quite HOW you lower the glovebox.  The picture shows interior of my glovebox and the DVD/CD drive

A little bit of pushing - pulling - squeezing and tugging required where the moulded box reaches its end stops..........it's plastic, it 'gives' quite a bit. 

I had to access the fusebox recently to hard wire my dash cam.

 

Open the glovebox and locate the clip in the left side. Pull this towards you to unlock.

 

Once unlocked, find the two tabs and push them up and the glove box will drop.

 

Once complete, push the glovebox back up and push the clip back to lock.
