Water leak on VRS

Featured Replies

Hi all, i have a 2016 VRS diesel estate and we noticed a wet patch on the drive earlier today, it seems to be coming roughly from underneath the drivers seat and i’ve located what looks to be a drainage hole but i can’t tell what is the source of the leak.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

thanks all. So AC on the way out then? any likely causes?

Mine has been doing the same. Just condensation coming off the AC unit

so nothing to worry about at all? it’s still dripping 45 mins after stopping…

I don't think its anything to worry about, quite normal.

thanks to everyone for the help!

Air con doing its job no need to worry 👍

There is a simple way to check this. When your car is at a stand, but a cup underneath the drip. Look at the collected liquid. If it is purple/pink, its coolant, if it is clear, then it will probably be condensate.

Hell, if you wish to taste test, I think you find it's water (not advised)
