Superb MY17 - VCDS change activation speed for high beam (Light assist)

Featured Replies

Hi, I am Skoda Superb 2017 owner. Light Assist is activated but default high beam speed activation is 60 km/h.

I trying VCDS coding:

Unit A5 -> Security Access -> enter code 20103 ->Adaptation

find in the menu "activation speed for high-beam assistant"

find in the menu "channel speed threshold for high beam recommendation off"

I didn't find channel

Please, help me change activation speed for high beam. I would like to reduce the speed to 20 km/h

The Superb doesn't have that option.

Our setup is different to the Octavia when it comes to HBA/SLA behaviour.

In the Superb, the activation and deactivation speed is embedded in the 4B parameter file.

U can't edit this.

Interestingly with mine, prior to retrofitting SLA headlights, my HBA threshold was 60 km/h.

After I retrofitted SLA, and had the SLA parameter file loaded, the threshold changed to 40 km/h!  That was unexpected, but I like it.

Even the Skoda videos for SLA one of the conditions is that the car is doing at least 60 km/h.

Oh well, I'm not complaining.

The vehicle speed is over 60 km/h or for some countries more than 40 km/h

For example change appropriate country over VCDS for activation speed 40km/h?
