Over the last few weeks the clutch on the car seems to have become very sharp, has very little feel and is now almost like an on/off switch. Car has only done 4500 miles. 
 

any one else have something similar? 

I had my 1.5 TSI Hatchback from 4000 miles and driven it now up to just over 5000. I've not noticed a change in the clutch during this time and the clutch has always felt "normal".

 

I've found the brakes slightly spongy and noisy but the clutch has worked as expected. Sorry this doesn't help you much!
