Its driving me crazy. I bought and installed a rear view camera from AliExpress. I run the wire to the front and I connect the RCA to an old style 12 volt tv and everything is ok. But when I tried to connect it to the multimedia ,you know the little blue interface and long coding etc. I don't see anything on the multimedia screen. The screen is the amudsen and the make year is 2013. Octavia mk3 5e hatchback 1.6 dsg diesel. Is there any tricks or tips ?? Can anyone send me a guideline as to how to connect the wires? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There are separate power and video connections to consider.  There are also numerous postings on the forum on how to install a camera [both genuine and non-genuine units].
