E10 in a MK1 VRS?

Featured Replies

Apologies if this has already been asked, but does anyone know is E10 ok to run in a 2002 VRS Octy?

My local station switched over this week, going by a list someone posted on a VW forum the 1.8T should be ok, but I'd rather be sure.

Thanks in advance :)

Skoda UK and Skoda Dealers say OK.

But in the UK you can at least buy Super Unleaded and get E5 or even Super Unleaded without Ethanol from some Retailers.

Like most mine is mapped to 99ron. So just stick to any super unleaded like root said. 👍🏻

The issue is the lack of Super Unleaded in Ireland unless that has changed since we used to carry extra 102 ron '250 hiperflo' in cans so we could mix it when heading to the south of Ireland or even north of Invernes.

mmmm..... yeah, its hard to know to be honest, as i have a fuel card for place and tend to buy mostly diesel and "regular unleaded" for swmbo's car im not sure what the super availability is like, though CirceK do have a premium petrol and diesel options. .. will have a better look around over the next couple of weeks and report back

Ever since I bought my vrs i have always filled up with Shell V Power 99 ron (E5) , in the mower and in my RR.
