Facelift VRS and wheel spacers

Featured Replies

Just read another thread about the difference in track width on Pre FL and Facelift models, I've always felt my pre FL handled better than my FL one and the thread made interesting reading, I've copied the info from the thread and will add below but I did a bit of measuring earlier and only found about 10mm of difference between front and rear axle widths with the rear being wider which corresponds with the info from the other thread, what I didn't know was the Pre FL was wider across the front  axle compared to the rear similar to the Golf as far as I'm aware.

Has anyone added just front wheel spacers to their facelift and how do you feel it affected the cars handling /turning ?

I would like to add a small spacer to the front to make the front look similar to the rear.

Cheers
