Is there a Diy method of writing the service history onto the Columbus system with pc and software like the BMW and Audi hacks that are already out there thanks

Err...no. that's not how the system works. If you mean is there a way of resetting the Service Interval when it warms you on your Columbus, then yes there is....no 'hack' needed. You can do this either from the car or via a VCDS /ODBEleven System.
