VZE what is it and what does it do in the driver assist menu

I see this mentioned in quite a few places, but never a description of it. So what is it, what does it mean and do we need to change it to "coded".

Please excuse my ignornace of theis but I have spent 2 hours googling without result

Also to get TSR I need to change from road side sign 'Fusion" to just Roadside sign recognition but it says  function unavailable.

Any ideas
