Disc Brake Caliper Covers

Featured Replies

Hi, I'm new here and hope there isn't another thread on this...I did look but couldn't find anything.

So, I have a lovely brand spanking new Karoq 1.5Tsi DSG Sportline in Race Blue and fancied some coloured calliper covers. I have found loads of stick on ones and one very expensive custom manufactured ones but none specifically for the Karoq at a reasonable price.

Has anyone else bought some of these at all either VRS green or red?

Thanks in advance for your help :)

Oh dear.......😂😂😂

No. But you can buy Hammerite smooth in vRS green and Brembo red (or close matches). It's pretty heat proof, and won't give you the same issues with brake fade that your fashion victim special mod will.

@Tim1631....yep these are the ones I have already found....they look awesome but are pricey :)

Just look at those supershonky fixings supposed to retain them in position, its not a case of if they come loose but when, the outcome is very predictable, they will do a good impression of a leading brake shoe or ratchet pawl.

Muppets and their customers are double Muppets.

Cheers...I was thinking about this route!

If you do decide to paint them (the better idea!)  eBay has quite a few options and you'd probably only need a 250ml tin to do all 4.

The main thing is to ensure the calipers are grease free first though. 👍
