D3S LED headlight bulbs in projector light assemblies

Featured Replies

Has anyone fitted the above?  I know that LED bulbs in reflector headlights are a bad idea as the light scatters everywhere.  However I think in theory they'd work well as a xenon bulb replacement in the projector housings.  Has anyone got any good/bad experience of this before I spend cash on them

MOT fail if discovered. Not worth it for the marginal gain IMO.

Don't bother.

Get urself a better performing D3S globe, with better lumens/kelvins.

Like Phillips XtremeVisions or Osram Night Breakers.

I put the Gen2 XtremeVisions in mine - brilliant performance in dry/wet weather conditions.

Why would you bother, its an MOT fail to start with but also youre upping the voltage just to drop it again, waste of energy and heat. Just fit what the unit was made for
