How to get S/S button out of Console

Am trying to extricate the buttons to fit the S/S defeat cable and cant figure out how to get them to pop out.

Any one done  it in either the Scala or Kamiq and has pics or a step by step guide.

I have found a pic on a Czech site but he hasnt said how he got them out

Spent $50 on the cable so would like to use it.
