At least I know what make I am going to buy. Probably either an Octavia or Kamiq.

Accidentally posted above. My question is with the DSG gearbox, is the 1.5 petrol worth the extra performance, or is the 1.0 110 bhp adequate.

 

My driving is 50/50 town and motorway. Is there much difference in fuel consumption between the engines at motorway speeds? Is the 1.5 quieter or smoother than the three pot?
