Mk1 vrs Central locking

Featured Replies

Hi

I'm new to this forum. My vrs has recently started locking itself after I've got in after a few seconds. The alarm then goes off if I don't open the door or put the ignition on. Anyone else had this? Cheers

Microswitch in the drivers door lock has failed, mine does it too.

Thanks mate. Do you know the part No and how much one is 😬. Needs a few hundred spent on it for the next test. Cant complain though I loves it.

I'd assume you'd replace the entire locking unit in that door.

So just search for drivers side locking unit?

I'd presume so. You'll be able to find a part number on this forum, no doubt.
