Same waiting time as mine then.

I am still waiting for a build week here.

 

SE Technology ordered mid September 2022.

First update I had was notification that it was built! Took six months after order.

Just received an update, unconfirmed build week 7.

March delivery to you then🤞

So week 7 is w/c 13th February?

 

How many weeks after this will the car arrive in the UK?

 

I have seen people on other threads tracking there car status once built using the VIN, where do you get the VIN?

Just placed an order today and was quoted an optimistic 16 weeks.. late May. Assuming unless there's anything drastically improved I'm going to be in for a longer wait than that.. 

 

 

Mine had gone back to awaiting build week.

Yeah 27 wks if order placed today. My order went in 2 wks ago, funnily enough at time of order was quoted 16wks.. Taking all these numbers with a pinch of salt 

@nardisWhat engine and gearbox has the car you ordered that the salesperson is just picking a timescale on for not much over 6 months?

@toot 1.0 110 DSG .. Relatively new round here, can see in this thread going back years there's been some epic waits. Does even 6m sound ambitious in the current climate?

You might just be lucky that Skoda (VW UK) need more low emission vehicles first registered in their need to meet the Fleet Average Co2 for the UK.

Yesterday i got call from dealership. Car will be here next week. Maybe the long wait will be rewarded 😅.

 

SE ordered in January, week 03/2023, and was told then it would be built approx 15 weeks later with an additional 4 weeks for delivery, so was expecting it in early/mid June.

 

I’ve now been told that the build week is now only 5 weeks or so later (very late Feb/first days of March) after ordering. Add on 4 weeks for delivery, and I hope to get it around Easter in early April.

When I ordered mine in September there were websites stating 16 week lead time, the update this week was still "awaiting build week"

Received an update today, unconfirmed build week 7 (again).

 

Week 7 is this week but I've got to wait until next weeks update to find out if it's been built.

It's been a while since I last posted, week 7 came and went, and the status changed to unconfirmed build week 15.

 

Update received yesterday -Confirmed build week 15 - Week Commencing 10th April 2023.

Scala update: ordered in mid-January; built in late February/early March, now, on 29 March, has been stuck in the docks in Germany for the past fortnight. Grrrrr…..

29 weeks after ordering, the Mrs Scala a Monte Carlo arrived this morning.
