Both my screen washer jets are blocked, while the rear jet is pushing out a lot of fluid.

 

I never though that I would need to ask this but how can I clear them? I have no idea if it is a fan type sprayer. It just seemed to go on the screen like any other screen washer (when it was working!). 2015 Superb Estate. Everything thing appears to be hidden inside the bonnet.

what water have you filled?

i prefer VW screen wash concentrate + distilled water
 

Here you go.. I bought these heated ones last year and they’re perfect. 5 minutes to change them.

 And I agree with MartiniB, I only use softened domestic water and VW screenwash too.

It's pretty unusual for VAG to fit wires that aren't used so I'd be very surprised if the wiring for heated jets is present on a car with unheated jets...

If there are no wires fitted to your existing jets then they're obviously not heated.  The question I was asked was....

... to which my answer was "yes" because that is correct; it does run all the way to the bonnet and across it to the two washer jet units.

I've just looked and not on mine.  I believe when you open the bonnet on the right hand side there's is a pipe wrapped but just below that should be where the wiring harness is, but on mine it's just a long flappy rubber nipple thing.

Have they changed the design of these on the superb recently? I've just taken delivery of mine this week (sans heated jets) but the fan / spray pattern and output is much better than my 2017 Passat
