Remove Columbus

Featured Replies

Trying to remove the radio to investigate the dreaded rattle. I can remove the trim but cannot see any torx screws to remove the unit. Do I need radio keys now if so what type or is there another method of removal? TiaIMG_20211007_160426521.thumb.jpg.b9c0ec57a409362fe072dfed9a5ae199.jpg

Yep. Google VAG radio keys.

Cutting an old bank card down to size also works *cough*

Two more slots at the bottom, so 4 keys (or slivers of bank card!) needed to remove it.

Note that if you're using standard radio keys, you need to remove them from the screen (by popping the clip behind where they slot in) before you put screen back. That stumps some people (including me) the first time.
